So much of our energy goes into striving — for achievement, for approval, for more. But gratitude begins when we recognize the abundance already here. Yoga teaches Santosha, or contentment — a deep knowing that we already have what we need. This week, let gratitude be your anchor in enoughness.
A Yoga Practice for Releasing Tension
Slow, grounded postures to embody "enoughness" and release tension:
Mountain Pose – Feel your feet root into the earth. You are supported.
Warrior II – Stand tall and embody strength and confidence.
Wide-Legged Forward Fold – Let go of comparison and striving.
Seated Twist – Unwind and release expectations.
Savasana – Whisper to yourself, “I am enough.”
Our mantra for the week is…
Gratitude turns ordinary into extraordinary.
Our journaling prompts are…
What in your life already feels abundant or complete?
When do you feel most at peace with yourself?
What can you release to make space for contentment?
And our meditation is…to open your heart to the abundant joy within you,.
Inhale softly and say to yourself: “I have enough.”
Exhale gently and whisper: “I am enough.”
Continue for several minutes, letting your breath guide you home.
