Joy isn’t always excitement. Sometimes it’s quiet resilience. Sometimes it’s the ability to stay open, even after disappointment or experiencing stress. This final practice honors the deep, steady joy that lives beneath changing emotions, the joy that remains because it is rooted in truth.
Our mantra for the week is…
I honor the joy I carry—steady, resilient, and true.
Our journaling prompts are…
How has joy supported me during challenging seasons?
What version of joy feels most authentic to me right now?
What does it mean to honor joy without needing it to look a certain way?
And our meditation is…a meditation to learn to simply be in steady joy
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Begin Balanced Breathing: inhale through the nose for 5 counts, exhale through the nose for 5 counts.
Bring awareness to the steady rhythm of the heartbeat beneath the breath.
Visualize the heart chakra glowing steadily - from a small sensation to a larger, expanding pulse from the center of the heart outward wrapping around the whole rib cage. The sensation can be calm, resilient, unwavering.
With each inhale, silently say “steady. joy”
With each exhale, say “true joy.”
Rest here for 5 minutes, honoring the deep joy that lives beneath shifting emotions.
