Welcome to the Beehive Blog
A number of years ago I started a blog. It was 2007 and blogging was new-ish. I wasn't very good at it - maybe I'm still not great at it, but I know that I have a lot of words in my mind and I also know that I love to share my passion of yoga. These words might help you, that's my hope. That these words and practices of yoga that I share here will change someone's life - inspiring them to feel better, do better, be better. Practicing yoga has helped me to heal my body, to expand my thoughts and ideas, to feel my emotions more deeply and to create a practice of compassion with action.
I shut down my blog from 2007. I allowed someone to tell me that my words weren't important and that I should be quieter, smaller, less me. I don't believe that anymore. So here, I begin again...
It's now 2024 and on the Bee Well Yoga social media accounts, we have consistently been publishing our Sunday mantras. This blog is for taking a deeper look at each of these mantras and doing some exploring within ourselves thru meditation, journaling and experimenting with how to use the mantras that are speaking a little louder to us.
I will also be sharing yoga practices, yoga philosophy, thoughts on books and poems that I find inspiring. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
