Purity is not perfection—it’s presence. Sometimes we carry beliefs, habits, or roles long past their purpose. Practicing Saucha means recognizing when to let go. When we release what’s no longer serving us, we create space for something truer to take root—something lighter.
On the Mat: Heart & Hips Release Flow (15–20 min)
Begin in Child’s Pose with deep breaths
Flow through Lizard Lunge, Pigeon Pose, Goddess, and Camel Pose
Return to Child’s Pose and end in Reclining Twist
In Savasana, repeat the mantra: “I make space for light.”
Off the Mat: Burn & Release Ritual
Write down a limiting belief or emotional weight on a small piece of paper. Safely burn or tear it. As the paper dissolves, imagine that heaviness leaving your body. Breathe into the space it leaves behind.
Our mantra for the week is…
I release what no longer serves me to make space for light.
Our journaling prompts are…
What belief or fear have I outgrown?
What am I making space for in my life?
How can I create emotional spaciousness this week?
And our meditation is…a meditation to drop and clear all our worries as a practice of purification.
Visualize yourself standing beside a river. With every breath, drop a worry or thought into the water. Watch it drift away. Continue this visualization for a few minutes, repeating the mantra softly or silently - I release what no longer serves me to make space for light. Feel the spaciousness building around your heart and crown. Close with three deep breaths, welcoming the light.
