Joy doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly - in a deep breath, a familiar smile, a moment of ease. When we practice gratitude, we don’t force joy to appear; we simply make space for what is already alive within us. This week, we honor the joy that grows when it is noticed.
Our mantra for the week is…
I give thanks for the joy that lives in my heart and grows each time I notice it.
Our journaling prompts are…
Where have I felt small moments of joy recently that I may have overlooked?
What helps me notice joy more easily in my daily life?
How does my body feel when I slow down enough to recognize joy?
And our meditation is…a meditation to recognize the sensation of joy in your heart
Sit comfortably with one hand resting at the center of your chest.
Begin Heart Awareness Breathing: inhale slowly through the nose for a count of 4, exhale through the nose for a count of 6.
As you breathe, imagine the breath moving in and out of the center of your heart — visualize the center of your chest glowing a soft green color
With each inhale, silently say “I notice.”
With each exhale, say “I give thanks for the joy within my heart.”
Allow warmth, light, or sensation to grow naturally in the heart chakra.
Remain here for 3–5 minutes, letting gratitude gently nourish and expand the natural joy in your heart.
