Our mantra for the week is…
I move with awareness and ease
On the mat practice: presence & breath
Move at 50% speed
Inhale to rise
Exhale to fold
Add pauses:
1 full breath between poses
Hold transitions
Key Sequence:
Mountain → Forward Fold → Half Lift → Step Back → Low Lunge → Pause
End in long savasana.
Off the mat practice: mindful slowness
Eat one meal in silence
Walk slower than usual
Pause before speaking
Our journaling prompts are…
What changes when I slow down?
Where do I rush unconsciously?
What am I afraid will happen if I slow down?
And our meditation is…a meditation to extend the exhale (10 min)
Inhale for 4…
Exhale for 6…or 8...or 10
Continue.
Let the exhale soften your body.
Signal safety to your nervous system.
Stay here. Breathe slowly.
