Let Your Practice Meet You Where You Are

Some seasons call for movement. Others call for stillness. Some days your body craves an energetic flow. Other days it asks for rest, gentle stretching, or simply lying in savasana.
A healthy practice isn’t rigid. It’s responsive. Nature reminds us of this every day. Trees don’t bloom all year. The moon doesn’t stay full. The seasons continually change. So do we.
Your practice should grow with you, not against you. Listening to your body isn’t giving up. It’s wisdom. When we stop forcing ourselves to fit yesterday’s version of success, we discover something even better: sustainability. Practice becomes less about achievement and more about relationship. A relationship with ourselves built on trust instead of criticism.
Our mantra for the week…
I trust my body to guide today's practice.
Our journaling prompts are…
What season of life am I currently experiencing?
How can I better honor what my body needs today?
What would practicing self-compassion look like this
And our meditation is…a meditation to tune into what you need (5 min)
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Breathe naturally.
Ask yourself:
“What do I need today?”
Don’t search for the answer.
Simply listen.
Notice what emotions, sensations, or thoughts arise.
Offer yourself one word of kindness before opening your eyes.
