Gratitude is the golden thread that reminds us of our interconnectedness — to each other, to the earth, and to something greater than ourselves. Every act of thankfulness is a bridge, drawing us closer to the sacred in all things.
A Yoga Practice for Compassion and Connection
Heart-opening postures to cultivate compassion and connection:
Seated Heart Centering – Begin with one hand over the heart, one on the belly.
Cobra or Locust Pose – Lift and expand your chest, breathing gratitude outward.
Supported Reclined Twist – Soften into openness.
Partner Forward Fold – Feel shared presence.
Our mantra for the week is…
I am grateful for my body's wisdom and flow with ease
Our journaling prompts are…
Who or what has helped you grow this year?
How can gratitude strengthen your relationships?
What daily act can help you feel connected to something sacred?
And our meditation is…a meditation for connection through gratitude
Visualize golden threads extending from your heart, connecting to loved ones, ancestors, and the natural world. With every breath, feel those threads pulsing with gratitude and light. Whisper silently, “We are all connected.”
