Gratitude Grows from Within: Yoga & Meditation for Connecting to Abundance

As November begins, it's time to turn inward and tend the quiet flame of gratitude. Like sunlight filtering through the trees, gratitude doesn’t need to be forced — it simply asks for space to shine. When we pause and breathe, we remember that the light we seek is already within us.


A Yoga Practice for Gratitude

A gentle flow to awaken inner warmth and openness:


  • Child’s Pose – Soften into your breath and whisper your mantra.

  • Cat-Cow Flow – Move slowly, feeling gratitude for your body’s mobility.

  • Low Lunge with Cactus Arms – Open your heart; let gratitude expand.

  • Supported Bridge or Restorative Fish Pose – Rest the heart space open and receive light.


End your practice in Seated Meditation, hands at your heart, repeating softly:

“Gratitude grows from within me.”

  • What small, everyday moments fill you with gratitude?

  • Where in your body do you feel gratitude most strongly?

  • How can you nurture your inner light through daily rituals or stillness?


And our meditation is…a meditation for opening your heart to gratitude.


Close your eyes and visualize golden light within your chest. With every inhale, this light grows brighter; with every exhale, it radiates outward. Repeat your mantra silently for five minutes, letting your awareness rest in warmth and peace.
