True discipline isn’t rigid—it’s rooted in devotion. Tapas isn’t about perfection or punishment. It’s the loving structure that supports your highest well-being. This week, we shift from striving to sacred effort. Tapas as a form of self-respect.
Weekly Yoga Practice: Slow and Sacred
This practice focuses on alignment, intention, and patience.
Suggested Sequence:
Low Lunge → Half Split (each side)
Tree Pose (3 breaths, both sides)
Sphinx Pose → Baby Cobra
Bridge Pose (repeat x3)
Long Savasana
Tip: Move slowly. Let every pose feel like an act of devotion.
Our mantra for the week is…
I stay committed with tenderness and trust.
Our journaling prompts are…
Where am I confusing punishment with discipline?
What does loving structure look like in my life?
How do I want to feel after my practice—and how can I create that feeling?
And our meditation is…a meditation to breathe into your loving presence
Sit quietly with one hand over your heart. Silently repeat: “I practice because I care.” Feel the softness in your breath and body as you anchor in kindness.
