RYT-200

Bio:

My yoga journey began at Bee Well. A busy mom, with a full-time career, I didn’t have a whole lot of time to myself. There just always seemed to be a reason to prioritize something other than myself. I had heard a lot of great things about yoga, so I went for it. After my first couple of classes at Bee Well, I quickly fell in love with yoga! Then seeking to deepen my practice, I completed my RYT 200 training at The Yoga School at Bee Well in April 2023.

I love joyful movement. I love how Yoga connects the mind, body, and soul through movement. How it quiets the swirling thoughts allowing for space. Space to move, space to breathe and space to be present for ourselves. The time we spend on our mats is personal and holds a different meaning for everyone. My classes are a time for you to create space for yourself, to move, breathe, connect, and to have some fun.

Off the mat you can find me spending time with my husband, Andrew, and 2 kiddos Fitz (9) & Hamilton (5). They keep us busy but also fun. I love reading, cooking, listening to music, and singing in my car.

Happiness to me means Connection. Connection with our whole selves, our family, our community, and nature.

My favorite yoga poses are Flip Dog & Wild Thing (Camatkarasana). Fully translated, Camatkarasana means "the ecstatic unfolding of the enraptured heart". I mean, how beautiful is that?

I love them because they are so joyfully liberating, and not to mention super fun!To me they are a celebration of the beauty, strength, and resilience of our fearless, playful hearts.

My least favorite yoga pose is seated wide leg forward fold. It’s just not my jam.
