I walked into my first yoga class in 2007 as part of a gym membership. Getting fit was my goal but working out wasn’t my cup of tea, so I needed to go to a class to stay for more than 10 minutes. Yoga, turns out was the best prescription for my stress I was ignoring. It’s a work out and a work in which ends with a rejuvenating power nap! Wow, talk about multitasking, I could not believe my discovery. Full disclosure, it is a practice, not a overnight happening.
After talking myself out of it multiple times, in 2018, I got the courage to go to yoga teacher training at Bee Well and I am so glad I did! Now I am honored to help others discover the benefits of yoga and get better connected with their best friend, themselves. In my class you can leave your stress behind. We will hold space for body, mind and spirit connection. All are welcome. How much you want to sweat is up to you. Yoga is a gift of love we give ourselves which spreads out into the world.
When I am not on the mat, I do many things such as exploring nature, art fun, decorating consultations, treasure hunting, and hanging out with family both human and furry.
