Happiness to me means....
Happiness to me is being grateful for the small things. There are a million wonders to savor and so many reasons to be Thankful. Some things that make me personally happy are walks with a best friend, dinner at home as a family, watching my gardens grow, traveling and trying new foods and seeing new places, reading a good book before bed, time in nature camping and hiking, cooking a beautiful meal and snuggles with my husband on the couch.
My favorite yoga pose is... Child's pose. I love how it makes me pause and work on my breath. All the while stretching my inner thighs, my low back and opening my shoulders.
My least favorite yoga pose is... Camel - because it's hard for me and I have low back issues that don't like the compression.
I can't wait to teach you about… the power of Yoga. How we can yolk our minds and bodies together and heal ourselves.
Camas is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and has studied with Jaimie Elmer and Ray Long. She loves to teach Power Flow, Slow Flow, Deepen and Yoga 101 and has over 1000 teaching hours. When you take Camas' class, you will feel stronger mentally and physically. Her classes focus on calming and centering the mind along with stretching and strengthening.
Camas' is a passionate advocate for foster children. Her family supports this cause by opening their home to children and volunteering and supporting local foster care non-profit organizations.
It is Camas' hope that when you leave her class you will have found a new friend and feel stronger and more at peace.
